Unexpected

I love my friends.

Whenever I bring up unpleasant pieces of the past, Im not doing it to make you feel bad.

Im doing it to let you know I got hurt. In case you didn’t realise it back then.

So you can get the chance to fix it.

Because you CAN fix it.

So it wont hurt whenever it comes up.

It’s not about the candles.

It’s about me being your priority.

Over other things.

Just for a couple of hours, once a year.

People surprise me.
